The N559 Lake Erie Tobacco State Governors set is a (48) card set picturing governors of the day in the late 1880's. The cards are larger format akin to a trade card, measuring 2-5/8" Wide by 4-3/8" High. The fronts of the cards are sepia with white borders and the backs of the cards are ornately printed in blue ink and advertise for Ivory Long Cut chewing tobacco. Grover Cleveland is included in the set. The cards are relatively scarce and highly sought out by advanced collectors of 19th century tobacco cards.
This single N559 Lake Erie Tobacco State Governors card pictures C. Meyer Zulick, Covernor of Arizona that is in poor condition with all four borders trimmed. The actual field of the photo and the ornate graphic back are in clean condition.
