The N377 Ellis Tobacco Recruit Cigarettes Civil War Generals pictures generals from both the Confederacy and the Union sides in colorful lithography for the late 1880's. The 25 card set are tougher than many of the mainstream issues but set completion is possible with patience and dollars. The set contains Lee and Grant as well as many of the other more well-known generals of the Civil War.
This lot of (4) cards from the N377 H. Ellis Recruit Cigarettes Generals of the Civil War set are in mixed condition from Poor to VGEX. A single card has back damage and other condition issues (Gen. Kilpatrick). The other three have intact backs although the Stewart card does have some light writing on the back. Good lot for the set builder of this very difficult set.
