The R36 Fleer Gum Cops and Robbers set was one of Fleer's few issues of the 1930's. The cards pictured oddly named policemen and criminals and have one of what is apparently (5) different colors - beige or black, green, mauve or purple, salmon or dark pink or orange. Below the card itself, was what is known as an evidence tab. The evidence tabs are numbered 1-35 and could be redeemed for an amateur detective badge if all (35) were collected and sent to Fleer.
This complete set of (35) cards from the R36 Fleer Cops and Robbers set include all orange-background cards except for Marshal Dangerfield (red). The cards are in EXMT to NRMT and the set is a fantastic representation of this popular series.
