Allen and Ginter issued the N46 Cigarette Making Girls set sometime in the 1880's and created beautiful cabinets of a similar subject, likely in the same time frame and possibly as advertisements for the smaller version insert series. Burdick cataloged this series as H232 in the trade card section of the ACC. It's unknown how many different cabinets are in the set and only a very few have been seen.
This cabinet is in about EX condition and is extremely clean with a superior image. The back is extremely clean as well. Phenomenal, nearly unimprovable example from this tough "H" series set. This example has a grommet hangar at the top center of the cabinet.
