The R147 Schutter-Johnson Tarzan and the Crystal Vault of Isis is a (50) card set picturing the jungle hero in his usual setting. The same artwork is also used in the V256 from the Canadian Chewing Gum company. The cards picture colorful fronts and gray-toned backs. The U.S. version card backs are oriented vertically while the Canadian Chewing Gum set are oriented horizontally.
This set of (50) cards are largely in VG to EX condition, averaging a very consistent VGEX. Two of the cards are from the V256 set and those are #'s 19 and 46. This is a great set that could be complete with a couple replacements and would fit in with any 1930's "R" candy and gum collection.
