The R71 Planter's Nut and Chocolate set of (25) cards pictures Hunted Animals--most of which are from big game hunting in Africa and other wilds. The cards were issued with Big Game Peanut Blocks from Planters of Wilkes-Barre, PA. The set was issued in 1933 and notes on the back of the set that Trapped Animals were to follow. There is no known Trapped Animal followup set however. The cards feature colorful fronts picturing scenes of Polar Bears, Orangutangs, Deer and other animals that would be hunted primarily as trophy animals.
This set of (25) cards fall generally into the EXMT to NRMT-MT range and the set is extremely nice.
