The T115 Allen Tobacco Company issued the T115 Views and Art Studies set in the early 20th century timeframe in a square format, utilizing many of the same images of the smaller format T116 cards that they also issued. The T115's have 66 known subjects and are black and white cards--front and back--measuring 2-7/8" x 3-1/8". The cards are much tougher than their T116 counterparts, and unlike the T116, unnumbered. The backs advertise for the "Allenette" Little Cigars from the Allen Tobacco Company.
This lot of very difficult T115 Allen Tobacco Views and Studies cards are in uniform VG to VGEX condition and very clean. Two card have an "X" written in blue crayon on the back. Great lot of very scarce cards.
