The A47 Kimball Cigarettes album is the companion piece to the N189 Savage and Semi-Barbarous Chiefs small format card set. The album is one of the tougher Kimball albums and is always popular due to the American Indian subjects in the 50 image set. The album measures 6" wide by 9-1/4" high. There are front and back covers and (12) interior leaves in full color. Unlike many other albums the interior leaves feature (4) card images each and the back cover features a pair of images. It is rare to have card images on the back cover of albums.
This A47 Kimball Cigarettes Savage and Semi-Barbarous Chiefs and Rulers Album is in VGEX to EX condition and extremely clean in comparison to many albums of the day. The front and back covers are clean with little corner issues. The string in the book appears to be original. There is stress to the bottom hole on the front cover. Just a beautiful example of this album.
