These cards are from the second series (#121-240) of the 1956 “Jets” issue, This series
is unique, with black-and white glossy photos of period aircraft, from jet fighters to balloons to
helicopters. The backs contain descriptive info about the aircraft. The full-bleed red bottom border
is notorious for “chipping”, dramatically showing early signs of wear. This lot of 51 cards generally
has good red borders, with moderate signs of wear. Overall EX+, with some lesser and some
better, and above-average centering throughout. Almost all cards have brilliant white borders.
