One of several series featuring movie monsters, famed and obscure, produced by Long
Island-based Nu-Cards. Nu-Cards produced a small number of series in the late 1950s and early
1960s, usually of low production quality, and then faced from existence. This 146-card series is a
particular favorite among collectors, as it is probably the most comprehensive assemblage of film
monsters ever produced on cards. The backs of the cards carry forgettable juvenile jokes.
