Primrose Confectionery in the United Kingdom issued a small (12) card or stamp set capitalizing on the popularity of Star Trek--the original series. The original series of Star Trek premiered in September 1966 and concluded in June 1969 with a total of (79) episodes. The show introduced us to characters like Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. Bones McCoy and others and ushered in the popular world of Star Trek into our modern every day world. Since the original series, many other TV series in the Star Trek world have debuted as well as (13) full length feature films, grossing many billions of dollars. The Primrose set is printed on thin card stock with interestingly angular artwork on the front of the card with a narrative on the back of the card.
This lot is for (10) Complete sets of 1971 Primrose Confectionery Star Trek cards/stamps is in VGEX to EX condition and very clean. Total (120) Cards/Stamps.
