The E16 John H Dockman Flag Chewing Gum set is a (24) card set picturing flags of the world. The set is one of a few flag sets cataloged in the ACC and is one of the easier sets to complete. Interestingly, the United States is not included in the set although the cards were issued by a U.S. Gum company. Dockman issued a number of candy sets during the early part of the 20th century in their products to entice kids to buy candy like the tobacco cards enticed people to buy cigarettes. The set is a standard sized candy card set measuring 1-1/2" Wide by 2 13/16" High.
This complete set of (24) cards from the E16 John H Dockman Flag Chewing Gum set is in EXMT to NRMT condition and super clean. A single card, Argentine Republic, has some light fading on the back of the card but otherwise the colors are vibrant on the front and the backs are clean in this set. This is the best set we've ever seen of these popular flag cards.
