The E8 Battleship set is believed to be from American Caramel. Much like the E102 baseball cards, the checklists on the back are staggered and both sets are believed to be from American Caramel. The cards are beautiful drawings of American Battleships from just after the turn of the 20th century. They are difficult to find and even more difficult to find in nice condition.
This complete set is arguably one of the best in the hobby. Three of the cards have the "29 Prizefighters" boxing card backs while the rest have the normal Battleships checklist. The cards run from VGEX to NRMT with most being strong EX to EXMT. The colorful fronts are vibrant with no major issues. Just a fantastic set which is rare to complete and even more rare to have in this type of condition.
