The N228 Kinney Novelties is one of the more interesting groups of cards issued during the "N" timeframe of the late 1880's through early 1890's. There are 6 different groupings of cards within the N228 series. The N228-2 Novelties are round, thinner cards picturing beautiful ladies of the day. The cards are all head shots and can have backs colored in a number of different colors. The N228-2 ladies are significantly easier to find and complete than are the N228-1's.
This near complete master set of N228-2 Kinney Novelties Women (thin) set includes nearly all copies of the (50) different images for the (3) different backs of light brown, red and blue backs. A fantastic accomplishment, only needing (4) more cards to be complete. A few sample pages have been scanned, front and back, to show the quality of this set. There are a very few cards that have back issues like paper missing or other issues but overall the cards are in GVG to EXMT with most being around VGEX.
