The N375 Ellis Tobacco Breeds of Dogs series is a set of (25) cards issued by Ellis Tobacco with three different brands of their cigarettes--Triplex, Bengals Cheroots and Tiger cigarettes. The cards in the set can be found with bottom front advertising for each of these three brands offering up a total of (75) different variations for the set. Arguably the most beautiful dog cards of the 19th century tobacco cards, this set is very popular with collectors.
This lot of (4) N375 Ellis "Breeds of Dogs" cards have all been graded by PSA and include the following subjects: Dalmation or Coach Dog (PSA3.5 VG+), Fox Hound (PSA4 VG-EX), Irish Setter (PSA4 VG-EX MC), and Pug (PSA3 VG). Great lot of cards from this popular set. All (4) have the Tiger Cigarettes ad panel on the front.
