The 1976 Topps Star Trek set was issued after the original series ended and before the first of the many Star Trek Movies. The popularity of this set rivals some of the other iconic mid to late-mid 1970's sets like Star Wars and others. The images in the set are crisp and clean and picture all the principle characters of the series as well as many of the classic episodes and tangent characters that made the show a cult favorite and spawned new series and moves for the next 40 years. In addition to the (88) colorful cards in the set, there are (22) stickers in a similar iconic format to the Star Wars stickers. The stickers are always very popular for these 1970's Topps sets.
This 1976 Topps Star Trek Complete Set of (88) Cards is a strong EXMT to NRMT set with just some off-centered cards as the biggest issue. There are (4) stickers included with this set: #1, 8, 9 and 15
