The 1950's and 1960's saw a huge dearth of movie star sets issued throughout Europe and no country was more prolific in issuing sets than was Holland. The Dutch issued dozens of sets of movie stars--generally full color, blank-backed sets that had some identifying set letter on them. The sets included mostly American movie stars of the 1950's and 1960's and some of the most popular stars of the day with Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball and many many more.

This near set (91/100) of the 1957 Dutch "Serie S" is in VG to EX condition, averaging about VGEX. The near set is chock full of great movie stars and celebrities and is missing 7, 17, 18, 24, 43, 57, 68, 81, 89 and 95 to be complete.
