The R830-1 Aviation set is a (40) card set likely issued in the 1930's/1940's by an unknown issuer. It is entirely possible that it was Novel Candy or another similar manufacturer of boxed candy cards. The cards picture famous aviators and famous aircraft in a very popular subject of the time period. Subjects include the Wright brothers, Eddie Rickenbacker, Jimmy Doolittle and Howard Hughes.
This single R830-1 is one of the keys to the set--#39 Charles Lindbergh. The card is very clean and in about VG to VGEX condition with some light creasing around the top of the card--none of which break the surface of the card. The back is very clean.
