The N291 Buchner Presidential Puzzle Cards were issued by Buchner Gold Coin Tobacco with their Victory smoking tobacco. The set numbers 14 in total and can be arranged to spell out "Clevelands Victory" signifying Grover Cleveland's win in the 1888 Presidential campaign. The cards have 1-2 letters each and can be arranged on top of each other, as outlined on either card "S" or "Y", to form a picture of Grover Cleveland. One of the odder issues of the day, the cards are difficult to find and difficult to find in top condition. They are frequently found with staining as it appears that the Victory brand was a loose tobacco product.
This lot is for a single N291 Buchner Presidential Puzzle Card for the subject "R". The card is in fair condition with multiple creases across the card.
