The 1924 Turf Cigarettes Sports Records set is a (50) card set picturing sports of the day. The set was issued in two series of (25). Card #50 in the second series pictures George Sisler--a baseball hall of famer. It is rare to find overseas sets that feature American Baseball players and when one is found--they're highly sought after by American Baseball collectors.
This near set of (22/25) cards are from the first series of the 1924 Turf Cigarettes Sports Records set. Missing cards from the series include #1 Lawn Tennis, #8 Cricket and #11 Golf. The cards in the near set are in VGEX condition.
