The R188 set is an obscure set that has two types--a type A that are small, 1 15/16" W by 2 11/16" H in size and full color-front and back--and a type B that is 1 7/8" W by 2 3/4" H
in size and printed on cheaper, thinner paper stock. Both types note that they are from W.S.N.Y. and are dated 1941. W.S.N.Y. issued a number of cards--most notably many of the strip card sets in the "R" category. Most of the W.S.N.Y. issues are 'kitchy' type cards with less than the best artwork. Cards are unnumbered and only have W.S.N.Y. on them for identification purposes.
This lot includes a pair of R188 W.S.N.Y. Games and Puzzles cards--one each from Type A and Type B. The cards are both in EX to EXMT condition and extremely clean. Many advanced type card collections are missing R188's.
