Auction #11 - June 2022

R215 is an interesting issue from the mainstream Goudey Gum company. It's believed to have been issued in 1935 as an over-the-counter premium type item. The issue is printed on paper thin stock with apparently (9) different subjects. The paper is meant to be folded--almost like origami--transforming the original image into a totally different image after all the folds are made.
This lot is for a single R215 Goudey Gum Majik Fold of the title "Waterloo Where is Napoleon?". The piece is in VGEX to EX condition and very clean. R215's are very scarce and many top type card collections have a hole in the R215 spot. Great piece of 1930's "R" memorabilia.
