The T54 Egyptienne Straights cigarettes set is an interesting set of cards issued during the heyday of the 20th century tobacco cards. The cards came in a packet inside of a cigarette package and included a card that was a pattern for cross stitch. With the card in the packet was also a piece of cross stitch and some thread. The set has (50) known subjects and includes all the letters in the alphabet along with different animals and other subjects.
This pair of T54 Egyptienne Straights Cigarettes Cross Stitch cards are in VG to VGEX and include the "B" subject as well as a flower in corner design. The backs of the cards are clean and the flower card has the "many assorted designs" red overprint.
