The N375 Ellis Tobacco Breeds of Dogs series is a set of (25) cards issued by Ellis Tobacco with three different brands of their cigarettes--Triplex, Bengals Cheroots and Tiger cigarettes. The cards in the set can be found with bottom front advertising for each of these three brands offering up a total of (75) different variations for the set. Arguably the most beautiful dog cards of the 19th century tobacco cards, this set is very popular with collectors.
This single N375 H. Ellis Breeds of Dogs of the subject Deerhound has been graded PSA2 or Good. The card is a Tiger Cigarettes advertising brand on the front with a very clean front and back and appears to be undergraded by a grade level or two. The biggest issue is the card is offcentered left to right at about 2/98.
