N70/N71 Dukes Actors and Actresses Mixed Lot of (46) Cards

The N70/N71 Duke Tobacco Actors and Actresses is a pair of (50) card sets issued by Duke tobacco picturing actors and actresses of the late 1880's. Most are from Broadway and have the roles they were best noted for at the time listed on the card. The small versions of the Duke N70/N71 cards were issued with Duke Cigarettes while the larger version cards were issued with Duke's Mixture. All of the Duke's Mixture cards are significantly tougher to find than are their smaller counterparts.

This lot of (46) N70/N71 Duke Actors and Actresses mixed lot includes (18) from Series 1 and (28) from series 2. The cards fall mainly in the VG to EX range but almost all have a small number written in light pencil on the back with some tick marks as well. The writing could likely be erased without any real damage but noted for accuracy sake.
