The N40 Allen & Ginter Game Birds set is the large format counterpart of the N13 Allen & Ginter small set of the same name. The cards, like the other large format cards, were all issued in the Richmond Straight Cut larger packages of cigarettes and are both more condition conscious and much tougher to find. The sets picture the artwork from the smaller format cards against an ornately chromolithographed background.
This lot is for a single N40 Allen & Ginter Game Birds card of the subject Wild Turkey. The card is in a clean GVG condition with a couple very light paper loss spots on the back. The card appears to be in VGEX or better condition at first glance and would be a welcome addition to any N40 set or A&G collection.
