In 1962 Topps issued an 88 card set titled Civil War News. The set pictures all the battles and characters of the U.S. Civil War which was fought between 1861 and 1865. The series proved very popular and employed fantastic, colorful artwork. A large find of unopened cello packages in the 1980's were opened and complete, high grade sets were disseminated into the hobby.
This unopened 1962 Topps Civil War News cello pack is in EXMT to NRMT condition. It is likely from the unopened find from the set from the 1980's to 1990's. Great unopened piece from one of Topps iconic sets of the 1960's.
