Topps issued a number of small card sets in the late 1940's and the 1949 X-Ray Round Up set is one of the neater sets. Issued in packages of Pixie Gum--one card to a piece of gum--the cards picture Cowboys, Indians, Pirates, and other celebrities--real and otherwise. The set of 200 cards are numbered on the front of the card with a back that was meant to be viewed through an orange viewfinder to see what was printed. The cards had a companion album that was available by redemption. The album has slits inside on black pages in which to place the cards.
This lot of (19) different 1949 Topps X-Ray Round-Up are in Good to EX condition, averaging about VG/VGEX. All cards are scanned for viewing the individual subjects.
