The R116 Independent Candy Company Presidents set is a (30) card set picturing U.S. presidents in a dark blue ink inside an ornate red frame. The cards are relatively crude--akin to many of the strip cards of the day but they are not strip cards. The card backs have a small biography on the back and note the presidents place in line. They note that they're from Independent Candy Company of Chicago, Illinois. The cards are relatively scarce and rarely show up for sale.
This lot is for a single, difficult R116 Independent Candy Company President card of the subject Ulysses S. Grant. The card is in VG condition.
