The N73 Duke Cigarettes Fancy Dress Ball Costumes set pictures actresses in dresses with some prop such as a bird or bee or other item and that becomes her title. For instance, Miss Rose has a child's toy top on her head as a hairpiece and her title below her name on the front is "The Humming Top". One of a number of sets that Duke produced picturing actresses in the smaller format cards.
The condition of this set of (50) cards from the N73 Duke Cigarettes Fancy Dress Ball Costumes set is primarily in VGEX to EX condition with some lesser and just a few better. The cards have a very uniform look with just the main difference being some light toning on the card backs. Overall, just a very nice and clean set that would be a welcome addition to any Duke cigarettes collection.
