The E6 Rulers set was issued by Lauer & Suter and was one of two sets they issued in the 1910 time frame. The other set was the E2 Naval Officers set. This set pictures 24 rulers from all over the world. In reviewing the periods that these rulers were in power, it's believed that this is a 1910 set. Albert, King of Belgium began his reign on December 23, 1909 and Dr Nilo Pecanha, President of Brazil ended his on November 15, 1910. That puts this set in a likely early to mid 1910 time frame. Among the more well known rulers, the set pictures Nicholas II of Russia, President Taft of the USA, Emperor William II of Germany and Edward VIII, the king of England. The cards exhibit beautiful coloring and can be found with the Lauer & Suter advertising on the back at the bottom or without the advertising.
This near set of (22/24) E6 Lauer & Suter Rulers is missing only Juan Vincent Gomez of Venezuela and William Howard Taft of the United States. The majority of the cards appear to have been trimmed from a sheet and have wavy edge cuts. Other than that, they are mostly in VGEX condition minus a couple lower grades. Clean, colorful representation of this set for someone who might not be as condition conscious.
