R139 Rosen Soldiers Complete Set of (36) Cards

The E Rosen Company of Providence Rhode Island is best known for their colorful Valentine, Easter and Halloween cards. They also issued this set of R139 Soldiers early in the "R" card period of 1930. The cards picture colorful renditions of soldiers for (36) different countries around the world. The card backs have a nice narrative and are numbered on the top of the card. The cards are printed on lower grade, strip-card like paper so finding high grade cards is often difficult.

This complete set of (36) cards is in technically poor condition with each card having a small hole punched in the upper left corner. Absent those flaws, the cards are in VG to EX, averaging mostly VGEX.
