The N493 Goodwin Old Judge set was issued by a number of different companies including Spanish Puffs, Key West Rosas, Sub Rosa and Goodwin. The cards picture actresses of the day in a sepia toned format with no frame lines. The tobacco advertising is typically found on the back of the card, but, in some cases, can also be found on the front. All the Goodwin subjects have been seen with advertising only on the back.
The (5) cards from N493 Goodwin Old Judge Actress/Girl cards in this lot all suffer from various maladies and would all grade at the Poor/Fair level. They are, however, very scarce cards and would make good fillers until better copies come along.
