The N194 Kimball Tobacco Household Pets set is a (25) card set picturing animals that have apparently been domesticated in the 1880's to 1890's. Included in the Household Pets set are a billy goat, calf, fawn, horse, peacock, pigeon, pony and other animals not necessarily associated with being in one's house. Like many of the other Kimball sets, the color chromolithographed fronts are set against white backgrounds. The cards are oversized compared to the normal 19th century issues and were inserted into the larger packages of Kimball cigarettes.
This lot of (4) cards from the N194 Kimball Household Pets set includes the following VG to VGEX condition cards: Pet Fawn, Pet Deer, Pet Dove and Pet Squirrel.
