The Allen & Ginter Quadrupeds artwork was used on the small format N21 set of (50) cards and the companion N41 larger format cards. The artwork was also featured in the Quadrupeds Album and Banner. The images picture four-legged animals from the mundane bloodhound, raccoon and squirrel to the big cats of jaguar, lynx, puma and tiger. Also pictured were the wild and always interesting animals of Africa including the Tapir, Zebu, Zebra, Rhinoceros and Hippopotamus. The animals are pictured in their natural habitats with nicely painted silhouette backgrounds picturing foliage and ground scenes from their lives.
This lot is for a single N41 Allen & Ginter Quadrupeds card of the subject "Zebu" that is squarely in the VG to VGEX condition bucket. Front and back surfaces are clean and vibrant with just corner wear being the biggest issue on the condition of the card.
