The T88 Mutt & Jeff series is a 100 card series that can be found in a number of different formats for different number ranges. The cartoon Mutt and Jeff series was created by cartoonist Bud Fisher in 1907. The popular artwork was used on a number of products. There is a series of tobacco pins also picturing much of the artwork from the Mutt & Jeff series. The cards were issued by Sweet Caporal in the early part of the 20th century and were given the T88 classification by Jefferson Burdick in the American Card Catalog.
This pair of cards from T88 Sweet Caporal's Mutt & Jeff Series includes #5 "Oh What I'd Do for a Chicken Like You" (about EX but thumbtack hole) and #49 "Everybody's Doin It" in about GVG.
