In addition to the N46 small-sized set of cigar making girls cards, Allen & Ginter also issued other advertising material for this popular set. Regular sized cabinet cards in the 4" wide by 6" tall format can be found picturing a number of subjects from this set as well as larger cabinets like the one in this lot. The larger size measures: photo 6-3/4" wide by 12" tall with the mount 7-1/2" wide by 13" tall. The large size are rarely ever seen.
This cabinet is in VGEX condition with the only real issue being some foxing spots on the cabinet which are common for items that are 120 years old like this scarce cabinet. This would make a great addition to an Allen & Ginter cabinet collection or any collection with these cigar-making girls cards.
