In addition to the T400-1 series of many subsets of cards, the T400 classification includes another 11 small (25) card sets issued by American Tobacco Company of other small actress sets employing different types of artwork. ATC issued many of these cards overseas to compete against many of the British tobacco and cigarette concerns.
The T400-12 American Tobacco Company (ATC) set is a (25) card set of "Stippled" background girl cards. The backgrounds are single pastel-type colors with "stipples" or dots. The set has the characteristic green net backs with American Tobacco Company (ATC) advertising. A sister set exists with the classification T440-15 for the British American Tobacco concern.
This lot of (5) cards from the T400-12 ATC "Stippled" background set includes (4) different cards with a duplicate. The cards are in VGEX condition and mostly clean.
