The N194 Kimball Tobacco Household Pets set is a (25) card set picturing animals that have apparently been domesticated in the 1880's to 1890's. Included in the Household Pets set are a billy goat, calf, fawn, horse, peacock, pigeon, pony and other animals not necessarily associated with being in one's house. Like many of the other Kimball sets, the color chromolithographed fronts are set against white backgrounds. The cards are oversized compared to the normal 19th century issues and were inserted into the larger packages of Kimball cigarettes.
This complete set of N194 Kimball Tobacco Household Pets are largely in VG to EXMT condition with most cards being VGEX to EX. A single card, Pet Deer, has some very light back damage. Great, turnkey set to fill a spot in a nice Kimball collectioin.
