Every small child dreams of what they're going to be when they grow up. The R72 Schutter-Johnson I'm Going to Be set gave the small children of 1930 twenty-four examples of those vocations to dream about. From Animal Trainer to Wrestler, Policeman, Fireman and Baseball player, boys and girls could dream of their ideal vocation. The back of the cards note that for the return of 25 different cards numbered from 1 to 25, Schutter-Johnson would give the sender a free baseball mitt, wrist watch or roller skates. I'm sure, back in the day, children bought pack after pack, unable to finish the set because they couldn't find card #4. In later years, we find that the card was intentionally short-printed to create scarcity to minimize how many redemption prizes that Schutter-Johnson would be responsible for. The card #4 is the Strong Man card and is not present in this set. The set is considered complete at 24 cards due to the extreme rarity of card #4.
Condition breakdown on this set is as follows: VGEX (6 cards), VG (12 cards) and Good (6 cards). Decent, nice looking set even though some of the technical grades are lower.
