This interesting pair of early tobacco tins includes examples from American Tobacco Company and Allen & Ginter. Neither are particularly ornate but both do have the markings of the manufacturers. The Allen & Ginter tin is about two times the size of the American Tobacco Company tin--probably holding 2-3 cups worth of product. The top of the tin will come off using a small pull tab at the top. The center part of the tin is partially separated. Overall the A&G tin is in Fair condition. The ATC tin has the characteristic Indian silhouette on the green top with the name of the company. The tin opens nicely and is in about good condition. The pair are interesting collectibles from 19th to early 20th century popular tobacco companies.
