The R159-2 Universal Products Comics and Jokes set is one of (4) different (16) card sets issued by Universal Products in sheets of at least (8) cards. The cards were trimmed apart and can be found in sheet form as well. The cards are crude artwork and it's believed, like the strip cards of the 1930's, were given as point of purchase when candy was bought at "Dime" stores around the country.
This lot of (8) cards represents 1/2 of the set of (16) cards from the R159-2 Universal Products Comics and Jokes set. The cards in this lot are in Good to VGEX condition with most around VG. The back numbers included in the lot are: #156, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162 and 163. This is the second 1/2 of the complete set of (16) cards.
