The T59 Flags of All Nations series is a 200 card set that was issued in series of (50) cards by a number of manufacturers with what has been recognized as about 40 different backs. Studies have been done suggesting that there are over 7500 front/back combinations by which to collect the T59 series and there are people who are attempting to collect them that way. I'm not sure how this compares to the T206 baseball number of back combinations but it has to be close if not more.
This set of (200) Cards is in VG to EXMT condition with a few worse and a few better. The set displays like an EX set and, most interestingly, among the 200 cards in the set are (31) copies with the very scarce Sweet Caporal Tobacco Wrappers back--(30) in black ink and a single card in blue ink. There are also, interestingly (7) cards that have writing on the back to Charles from Uncle George. Two of the cards have dates handwritten on them of Dec 1 and 10, 1910. The majority of the rest of the cards in the set are normal Recruit or Sweet Caporal backs of varying colors with a few Jack Rose Sprinkled in. Some sample pages, front and back, have been scanned as representative of the cards in the set. The (7) cards with writing are also scanned. Great set with some very difficult back variations and some other interesting aspects.
