The V275 O-Pee-Chee Empire Defenders set is a (48) card set that is the Canadian version of the U.S. counterpart R157 Gum Inc Uncle Sam set. The artwork is the same on the cards in the Canadian set but the Canadian set is 1/2 the number of the U.S. set of (96) cards. The cards were issued in 1941 right at the beginning of World War II.
This partial set of (35/48) cards are in uniform VG to EX condition, with most around VGEX. Great, clean lot of cards from this nice Canadian version of Uncle Sam cards.
