The V339-17 Parkhurst Texas John Slaughter set is a 50 card set from Parkhurst that was issued in the early to mid 1950's. The card pictures scenes from the television show of the same name from the wonderful world of Disney that aired (17) different episodes from 1958 to 1961. The Western television series was based upon an actual Texas Ranger, John Horton Slaughter. Tom Tyron starred as the white hat cowboy. The fronts are colorful with narratives both in English and French on the back.
This lot of (4) cards from the V339-17 Parkhurst "Texas John Slaughter" set have all been graded by PSA and include the following subjects: #12 (PSA5 EX), #13 (PSA7 NM), #34 (PSA6 EX-MT) and #39 (PSA5 EX). Great lot of graded cards from this Parkhurst set.
