The E195 Necco Airplanes set was issued in the later part of the "E" era, pushing into the period of time closer to the "R" era. The 12 card set is relatively common and is one of a multitude of likely 1930's sets that picture airplanes. The aviation field had grown exponentially since the first days of air travel and airplanes were a popular subject. The 12 subjects in the E195 set were well-known airplanes of the time including Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis" and popular airplanes from Curtiss, Lockheed, Fokker and Vought.

This set of E195 New England Confectionery Airplanes have all been graded by PSA and currently hold the #4 set on the registry with a 6.58 GPA. The 12 cards fall into the following grade levels: PSA8 NM-MT (6, 10, 12), PSA7 NM (5, 8, 11), PSA6 EX-MT (3, 4, 7, 9), PSA5 EX (1, 2). Just a beautiful set all around.
