The 1956 Gum Products Adventure set is a (100) card set featuring adventurous activities and sporting events. The set features bull-fighting, swimming with sharks, basketball, and so many more adventurous activities. Within the set is a subset of (6) boxers. They are the key cards and most in demand from the set and none is more in demand than the card of Max Schmelling--the German champion. Whether it's just that the card is of Schmelling or that it does have a swastika symbol in the background, the card is extremely popular. The set is often found with extremely off-centered cards.
The near set (94/100) in this lot is EXMT to NM conditon. The only issues are centering issues which in some instances are 100/0 top to bottom or left to right. The cards are very clean otherwise. representative sample of 15 cards have been scanned both front and back. Missing Max Schmelling and the other (5) boxers.
