Shotwell Manufacturing issued a number of card sets in their candy bars in the 1920's and a 24 card set picturing Red Grange in his film "One Minute to Play" was just one of them. The (24) card set pictured Grange in a number of scenes from the movie which was very popular. The movie was released on September 12, 1926.
This lot is for a single card from the E-UNC Shotwell's Red Grange "One Minute to Play" Set for card #12. The card pictures Grange in football helmet with another character from the movie. The card is in poor condition with heavy creasing and something adhered to the back but is a tough card from a very tough set.
