1950's A&BC TV Westerns Near Complete Set (54/56)

The A&BC cards of the UK are, in many cases, counterparts to the Topps sets made in the USA around the same time. The TV Westerns set from A&BC is one of those such sets. The set is 55 cards picturing many of the same subjects from the 1958 Topps set of the same name. There are a couple differences between the two sets however--one being the number of subjects. The Topps issue is complete at 71 cards with the A&BC series being complete at 55 cards. The A&BC offerings are also larger format cards--akin to the pre-1957 Topps nonsports while the Topps TV Western card set is in the smaller 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" size.

This near set is missing 13 and 22 to be complete. Cards in this near set are in VG to EXMT with most falling between VGEX and EX.
