This 6" tall by 4" wide cabinet photo pictures U.S. Grant and family--likely taken in the 1880's time frame. The photo pictures an older Grant and was likely taken after he left office in 1877. The scene pictures what are likely his (4) children and another possible spouse along with what are likely (3) of his grand children. The cabinet was taken by W.H. Baker of Broadway and Saratoga Springs, New York. The back of the cabinet has an interesting stamped advertising for Wm. H. Baker Artist & Photographer. Great piece in about EX condition with some light pencil writing on the back of the mount.
